The Erasmus+ program of the European Union provides funding for the international mobility of young people and youth workers, in order to share knowledge and skills, to form a network of international contacts and friendships, to promote the founding values of the Union.
After a year of online activities due to the pandemic, SE.M.I. association has organized a new training course in Faenza (Ravenna, Italy), from the 18th to the 22nd of July, 2021.
“How to… Quality label!”
The main objective of this project was to have more European organizations working with volunteering projects within the European Solidarity Corps, offering quality projects thanks to shared knowledge, new synergies and cooperations.
The 20 participants were youth workers, mentors, coordinators or volunteers who wanted to improve themselves by acquiring knowledge and skills to work in the field of ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering, committed to offering opportunities to young people, including those with fewer opportunities or disability.

Our story tracks back in 2015, with the launching of the ‘Refugee Crisis’ in Greece. Our active participation in the solidarity movements which arise in Greece, not only gave us useful experiences, but also created the sparkle inside us, to fight for a different society, which promotes the values of volunteering, solidarity and the principles of communality instead of the unfortunate individualism approach which exists in our societies.
