The Erasmus+ program of the European Union provides funding for the international mobility of young people and youth workers, in order to share knowledge and skills, to form a network of international contacts and friendships, to promote the founding values of the Union.
After a year of online activities due to the pandemic, SE.M.I. association is organizing European mobility projects in Faenza.
“How to… Quality label!” – A European training course
The main objective of this project is to have in 2022 more European organizations working with volunteering projects within the European Solidarity Corps, offering quality projects thanks to shared knowledge and new synergies and cooperations. The project will take place in Faenza, from 17 to 23 July 2021, it is organized by the SE.M.I. – Seeds for More Interculture APS and is funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
Participants are youth workers who want to improve themselves by acquiring knowledge and skills to work in the field of ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering, and all those who are committed to offering opportunities to young people, including those with fewer opportunities or disability. All activities will be held in English since the project partners are from Hungary, Lithuania, Spain, Greece and Romania, as well as Italy.
Mobility projects for youth workers support their professional development and ensure that the quality of projects at local and international level is increased, through non-formal and informal learning experiences, thanks to mobility activities such as seminars, training courses , study visits, or a period of job shadowing abroad in an organization active in the youth sector. The action contributes to achieving the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, and in particular of the European Youth Work Agenda, for quality, innovation and identification of the work of young people.
